We are the data controller within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the GDPR.
What we collect
We collect only the details you send us through the contact form: name, role, organisation, e-mail address, telephone number, type of operation, city, and, optionally, the context and objectives you describe.
When you send the form, we keep a pseudonymised identifier derived from your IP address for at most 30 days, to protect the form from abuse. The Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check uses technical signals from your browser, such as the IP address and browser type, and places no cookies on this site.
We collect nothing by other means. The site uses no traffic analytics, no cookies and no profiling.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use these details to answer your enquiry and to assess whether our services fit the situation you describe.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to a commercial enquiry we have received, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b).
We do not use the details for marketing. We send no newsletter. We neither sell nor rent data to anyone.
Who else has access
Five providers process the data as our processors:
- Vercel Inc., United States, which hosts the site and processes the contact form, in the EU region (Frankfurt).
- Supabase Inc., United States, which stores the messages received through the form, in the EU (Ireland).
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend), United States, which delivers the notification and confirmation e-mails.
- Cloudflare, Inc., United States, which runs the domain's DNS and the Turnstile anti-spam check on the form.
- Google, through Google Workspace, which hosts the mailbox where we receive the messages.
The transfer to the United States relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission and on the additional safeguards provided by the supplier.
Beyond these, we pass the data to no one, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form data for two years from our last contact with you, then delete it.
If we go on to work together, the data needed for the contractual relationship is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards, for the periods set by tax and accounting law.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability.
To exercise any of them, write to otilia@qalibre.ro. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro.
Security
The site runs solely over an encrypted connection. Access to the messages received is limited to the people who answer enquiries.
Data from our mandates
This policy covers data collected through the site. Data collected during an assessment mandate is governed separately, by the contract with the client and by the principles published in the How we work section. Field observations are anonymised before reporting and do not identify individuals.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on the site, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
